Upon arriving, my room had been upgraded, but unfortunately, it was freezing and inadequately lit. The service was friendly, cheerful, and very helpful overall. The location, close to restaurants and gas stations, was great for convenience. The dining setup in the morning was poor and lacking basic items like plates and napkins. Despite the shortcomings, the stay was pleasant and worth the price.

My stay at the hotel was like a blast from the past - reminding me of my military traveling days in the 1980s. The room was clean and had the bare essentials, including a great bed, nice shower, and good TV. However, the strong smell of smoke from the ashtray all the way to the room and inside was a downside.

I chose this hotel for its perfect location near the start of the Marathon, and it was fair value for the price. The room was clean and had the most comfortable beds in the USA, but it was disappointing to detect a hint of cigarette smoke nearby.
